Articles Processing Charge
To support sustainable and professional journal management, Journal Trias Criminologica: Studies in Criminal Law, Criminology, and Penology applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for every manuscript accepted for publication.
APC Fee
Authors are required to pay a publication fee of:
- IDR 300,000 (three hundred thousand rupiah) per accepted article.
- The payment is made after the manuscript is formally accepted by the editorial board.
This fee covers:
- Editorial processing and formatting.
- Peer review management.
- Online publication, archiving, and website maintenance.
- The services also include metadata and indexing.
Withdrawal Penalty
Authors who withdraw their manuscript after entering the review or editing stage without clear justification, or fail to respond to the editor’s communication, will be charged an administrative penalty of IDR 500,000 (five hundred thousand rupiah).
This penalty compensates for the time and resources spent by reviewers and editorial staff during processing.
Future Fee Adjustments
The publication fee and administrative penalty are subject to change in the future according to the publisher’s policy and operational needs.
Any revision will be officially announced on the journal’s website and will apply only to manuscripts submitted after the announcement.
Waiver Policy
The editorial board may grant a partial or full waiver for authors from institutions with limited funding, subject to the editor’s discretion and approval.
